June 1, 1987, Fresno, California. 16-year-old, Theresa Ann Bier has made plans to skip school and go on an adventure into the Sierra Nevada Mountains with a 43-year-old self-proclaimed mountain man who is a known drug addict. His name is Russell Welch, better known as Skip. But when Skip came down the mountain alone, the story of what happened to Theresa went from unbelievable, to downright crazy. Because according to Skip, Bigfoot abducted Theresa, and she wouldn’t want to come home. This is the story of Skip Welch, Theresa Bier and her uncle, John Richmond.
